I'm not sure if there will be much left of our democracy, our government, our self-respect, or even a sense of self, if Trump is installed into the oval office again. I don't think America can exist with that much depression, repressed anger, shame, regret and disgust. The misrule surely to follow is a given, but that's more a detail of insult added to the probably lethal injury.

I don't know what would be best alternative but I'm not sure if Americans can just accept that particular bad news and carry on.
