The reason George W. Bush won't endorse Kamala.

https://mastodon.sdf.org/@CaroltheCrone/113414629680090580

George W. Bush won't endorse Harris.
Here's why: Harlan Crow sits on the board of the George W. Bush Library in #TX
Harlan Crow has controlled Clarence Thomas for decades.
The corruption is very clear.

I don’t believe shrub is capable of thinking for himself and may well have fell off the wagon or is suffering from dementia after years of being an alcoholic.

His family is probably protecting him from embarrassing himself which is why he is rarely seen in public. They wouldn’t want to be accused of elder abuse. Remember, shrub is the same age as rump.

His endorsement brings nothing of value to the table. He's a failed president who left office with a 25% approval rating. Harris doesn't need that.

Now Laura? That would be a good one. I'd take Laura's endorsement over Bush's.

The old man was a partisan hack and a liar.

Only long after he lied about not being in the CIA in his director hearings did we find out that we was a major CIA operative in the bay if pigs fiasco.

The old man tried to extort prosecutors to protect Agnew (listen to Bagman later episodes).

The old man covered up the money to uran that got him and Raygun elected and the hostages held for several extra months.

WMD...etc...there is likely plenty of kompromat as well from shrubbery cocaine days.

He has struck me as amiable, but not really all that there, and that this has become only more pronounced with time. My suspicion has long been that in 2007-8, he fell off the wagon hard, which was one of the reasons that it was essentially Obama taking over to try to keep the markets from collapsing in the latter half of 2008, which probably won him the White House in October.

I don't think this is a case where he doesn't want to endorse Harris. Rather, it is Bush trying desperately not to get pulled back into politics.

I don't think that Bush was all that evil. I just don't think he had a very strong will, and was easily manipulated.
