Tomorrow morning at 6AM, I am to check into my polling place to work the polls

I'm an elected Inspector of Elections and my duties include checking in voters and their eligibility to vote. That includes guiding voters to their proper polling place should they show up at the wrong address (some voters were confused), signing them in to vote, and, at the end of the night, driving the Judge of Elections to the County Courthouse to turn in the results and the equipment.

Please say a prayer or send thoughts, vibes, whatever, for me so I'm safe from MAGAt violence at the polls.

We even had that happen here in El Paso where we have zero elected Republicans. The cop showed up right and explained he could either take off his MAGA hat or be arrested, booked and detained until arraignment. He got real meek and complied. I'm thinking Harris-Walz will get over 80% here and win by a large majority clear down to Brownsville. It might not be enough to carry Texas, but I'm hoping the down ballot will get rid of Cruz.
