Anybody else having a sleepless night?

I keep running every "James Comey" scenario to see how they'll steal it

I keep trying to keep a stiff upper lip and stay positive, but sleeplessness is having its way with me

Anybody else?

When I try to go to sleep my brain stays busy, making it impossible to relax.

I am cautiously optimistic about our chances, but PTSD moments of 2016 keep me on edge.

But that’s because of a thunderstorm. Had a few house shakers. Outlook here rains/thunderstorms this AM. Clearing out in the afternoon.

Now I'm out the door to get to my polling site to set up for 6 AM opening (I'm in New York)

I'll be poll-working today and probably won't get back home until near midnight.

SDo I'll be essentially incommunicado today.

Kinda wish I was working, but I do a bunch of party stuff, but today is a "wrap up" and I'm just poll greeting.
I have been keeping super busy.

I will be texting voters while I poll greet.

But I still think about 2016.

At this point (5:00 AM CST) I don’t think that the Rethuglies can launch a convincing “Benghazi!” story to convince enough rubes that our candidates are working for the Dark Lords of the Sith.

I think we’ve got a fighting chance. Donald John’s act has grown stale and more people are looking at him with disgust.

I’m so glad I did mail-in voting this time. I’m stressed out enough as it is without worrying about voting in person and long lines. Plus we have to take our dog to the vet today and she is horrible at the vet. I know it sounds stupid but I am very stressed out today. Gonna go swim at the community pool after breakfast, I think that will help.

Good luck everyone with your plans for today!

After waking up at 4:40 a.m. Didn't want to wake up that early but it allowed me to be there and first in line. People in line were nice. Thanks to all the election volunteers who are doing their part for democracy. Straight party voting so didn't take long.

I'm more concerned about the pervasive rot in this country (voters on the other team) as opposed to anything being stolen, though that's no doubt coming too.

I am going to skip watching returns - largely because I think this is going to be akin to 2000 and, to a lesser extent, 2004 -- which is to say I don't think we will know who "won" for days and courts will likely be involved.
