But we arrived at the High School at 615 to see a packed parking lot. The line moved along quite well all things considered but it still took almost an hour to finish.
Just as well, the steak house was closed until dinner so the staff could vote. Thanks Fred, you're a good dude.
So, I decided to order a Casey's bacon & egg breakfast pizza on my cell so we could all grab a slice on our way to work.
All 4 of us had to be at work by 830 or 9
We live in southern Illinois, which is pretty Trumpy, but our county is kind of blue, since it houses an Air Force Base and is part of the St Louis metro area. I can't say if the huge crowd was a positive for Kamala or not, but I will say I saw more BLM and rainbow apparel than flag pants, shirts or hats.
Yes - one guy decided patriotism dictated wrapping his ass and junk in the flag. What a POS.
I hope Mike Bost loses, but his district starts at the end of the Metro East (where I live) and extends into the corn fields of Trumpganistan, so he's likely safe.
Anyway, go vote

It's the only Casey's pizza I eat.

(13,296 posts)even if it is just to cover his jingle bells. The trumpers in my neighborhood no longer fly the Red White and Blue. They only have room for a Rump flag next to their front door.
