Not to get ahead of myself but..

If (when) Kamala wins this thing she will obviously be setting up her Cabinet and advisors, etc. Should Joe Biden play a role in her administration? I believe that if he want to, he should. The man is still an intelligent fellow and could offer something to her administration. Maybe as a foreign policy advisor or something like that.
Of course, the President may just want to live out the rest of his life away from the spotlight. After all, he's been there for a long long time. Either way, i support him and will miss him.

Let Joe go and enjoy his retirement - he has served his Country well.

Plus, I suspect that all former presidents (excluding Trump) are sometimes called by the current President to solicit their advice when needed.

Think. Again.

(and less of a security risk) than Trump. I’m sure there have been times when Presidents of one party have sought advice from a president of another party, but not in Trump’s case.

Think. Again.

...I would never suggest asking any rightwinger for any kind of advice at all.

At all.

Ever.

His wonderful wife Jill, their drove of grandchildren, etc.

Enjoy the beach, make a few bucks with a speech or si on a board of directors here and there.

I's time to retire. Let's normalize stepping away from the public sphere at some point.
