How will you be spending the evening?

Is anyone else too nervous to watch? I usually spend election night in front of the TV with a big bag of potato chips, but I keep getting flashbacks to 2016. I'm feeling good now, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much and then get a kick in the stomach.

Military votes and all the other traitorous actions and I started getting back pains and chest pains so I took an Ativan and it helped and I drank some water.

I don’t like taking Ativan because it makes me draggy or groggy. But that’s better than having a heart attack.

When Republicans on the Supreme Court in Georgia tell military overseas that they are not valued and that their votes will be ripped apart, I get angry

A smidge of gummy, a little cold Riesling sipped slowly, and a half dozen raw oysters on ice. I am thinking with gratitude of my mother, who died in 2019 at 93, and who taught me that oysters can always help save a tough day. I wish she were here!

We cant survive another trump admin.

MAYBE turning on MSNBC with sound muted. Trying to stay calm. It will be what it will be. Me turning myself into a basket case won't help a damn thing with the election results, but could put me in ER. So, my choice is clear. Stay connected but calm.

excellent live stream of the election on YouTube. I'm too nervous not to watch. A whole lot of counties in red states are coming in 2-4% points better for Kamala than they did for Joe. Looks like turn out is up.

Nothing will be settled until late tonight at the earliest, so I'd rather actually rather accomplish something than glue myself to the returns.

In the event that they are able to declare a winner tonight, I've got champagne chilling, and some burbon -- which I will hopefully be drinking them in that order.
