Sorry to say the founding fathers screwed up with this acquiescent to the southern states and their wish to retain enslaving human beings.

Big mistake. No other democracy anywhere in the world followed us by adapting this sh_t system. And it's just about impossible to get rid of it.

Lies, theft, far more members of Republican administrations convicted of crimes committed in office than the one or two Democrats.

WTF? They either don't know or don't care and it's not like Trump is going to ever do anything to make their lives better.

Fox News and Hate radio have done their work too well. Throw in a corrupt SCOTUS and dark money and here we are.

I've always maintained that Trump is a reaction to having a Black President.
People who I knew all my life & who I thought held the same views were deeply disturbed by that. Oh they wouldn't say anything out loud or they'd make snarky comments but it really bothered people who I thought were liberal. Therefore "Let's put a real White Son of a Bitch in there & show 'em". Racism is taught & ingrained in them despite an otherwise liberal viewpoint.
You can't go wrong campaigning on race in the USA.

I'll never understand why people can't do a reasonable filter of Trump lies. He lies! Why can't they see this??

If he gets reelected, these idiot people are going to be standing there slack jawed saying, "Wha's going on?" as he initiates the destruction of our government. And, they will have no excuse. None.

Who could vote for a guy that talks about executing his enemies? And, I bristle when they interview these stupid White women saying stuff like, "I'm concerned about the border, and the country is going bankrupt. We need change." These people are an embarrassment. They can't think abstractly. You want effing change? You'll get it and regret it!

They're either uninformed, or just flat out ignorant.

Although, to be honest DJT is so fucking stupid he's come close a few times.

To me the worst thing about Democracy is how uninformed, irrational, and thoughtless our electorate can be. But people are people, and the electorate is what it is. Persuasion and education are key.

Tue Nov 5, 2024, 09:24 PM

for years, since January 6, 2021, folks have sounded the alarm this dotard should never be president again. Even his former staff recommended against him being elected. The GOP had no testicular fortitude to restrain him from this election.

The dotard is a clear and imminent danger to the USA.A convicted felon, stealer of classified records, and a racist and sexist individual. But he played up to the racism, sexism and xenophobia within the country. Like, a bunch of Puerto Ricans almost had the dotard’s name on their ballots until MSG. Before MSG the paper towels after the hurricane didn’t phase them!

So if the dotard wins, and as the USA swirls around the toilet bowl it flushed itself in, there will be a bunch of us who can say, You F’d around and now you’re finding out!

(and I hope I am wrong)

who and what they are and stop expecting better of them, you'll get it. It's a cult, fueled upon hate, racism, victimhood, and vengeance.

It was a cult from the very start, in 2016, when they rallied around him above all other GOP contenders, specifically because of his litany of malice and hate.

His MSG rally was written of as some turning point or revelation. It was neither. Nor was it an aberration. It was their 'greatest hits' edition, remastered. An affirmation of all they've been saying, and believing in, from the start.

He explains his "lifeboat" theory, and how there's always someone who, once in it, would take the oars and beat away the hands of others who are trying to pull themselves into the lifeboat. He points out that there are now more people in this country who are that guy with the oar than there are people who would put down the oars, and pull others into the lifeboat. Keith is not wrong.
