I've got 3 data points but want the empirical evidence behind it and will report around end of week ... .

If it was a secret, they wouldn't have been talking about it. It was just another Trump distraction, and we fell for it like we always do. He always has something coming up that never arrives.

To intercept the usual "Trump can't keep a secret" responses, he managed to keep everything they did to try to overturn the 2020 election a secret from the public without any trouble.

There does seem to be something wrong with Harris internal polls, unless they were just putting on a happy face hoping she'd somehow pull it out. I didn't get that impression, though. The one thing I noticed in the past week or two is that they hardly ever talked about them. As I recall, Biden's team in 2020 talked about them fairly regularly, though my memory might be faulty.

You get your ballot in the mail, you can relax at home and read up on the candidates and different ballot issues, including reading the Voters Pamphlet, and then fill out the ballot and mail it in. Then in a couple of days you can check online to see if it arrived at the clerk's office. It is just great.

Judging from the last election, mail-in ballots were hugely beneficial for Democratic candidates. However, there is no excuse whatsoever not to vote at all, especially in an election this important.

It has been all about the Electoral College and never mind the national vote, which we can see NOW, DOES matter. What was hiding in plain sight was what some of us have been saying: pocketbook economy - her turn to the real hardships much of our traditional base was experiencing came too late, and too little. Same for her attention to the suffering our money/Biden's policies in the middle east were causing. Too little, too late. I was deeply disappointed in her exclusion of a Palestinian speaker at the convention - and the continued assumption that they, and those troubled by out contribution to their suffering, would realize that Trump would be worse. 22% for Stein in Dearborn.
