In the South, it's the churches.

They have so thoroughly convinced themselves that Trump is God's anointed representative and that the assassin's bullet was guided away by God. They honestly thought a vote for Trump was a vote for God.

If there are elections in the future, there will never be another win by a Democratic candidate for the president in Southern states that are mostly Christian. I don't know how Georgia 2020 happened, but it was a complete aberration and will never happen again.

1. Georgia has fewer of those kinds of Christians and more northeastern liberals.

They also had their election day disrupted by Russian initiated bomb threats. And that suppressed enough vote for dumbass to win.

3. Don't think vote was suppressed. Some polls extended hours and all polls had to let anyone in line by 7:00 vote.

Plus, there was 2.5 weeks of early voting, including some weekends. And mailin/drop off ballots were available to anyone, and encouraged.

We lost by 120,000 votes. That many were not suppressed, no matter how much we want to believe that.

2. Mostly agree. Although Black churches were instrumental in getting Democrats elected since at least 1960s.

Yeah, I hoped 2020 was a real sign Georgia was turning Blue, but I was hoping for confirmation this election.

Chit.

Just watch, when Trump finally croaks, there will be a bunch of people who expect God to resurrect him. When he doesn't, they'll convince themselves that he actually did, and they'll come up with a bunch of nutty conspiracy stores to explain why he still looks dead.
