I realized today that I hadn't stepped away from the computer in about 48 hours (with short naps), nor had I combed my hair. So I got dressed to go for a walk, and the visage staring me in the mirror was shocking.

Got my walk in today. It helped a lot. Need to wean myself from doomscrolling now.

I feel like I'm walking with an extra 100 pounds on me.

Pissed, disgusted, and most of all feeling hopeless. I'm so jealous of advanced countries like Australia or Canada, this country is filled with a bunch of gullible hateful idiots. I'm sick of it.

I feel like MAGA is out to destroy me personally. As a woman it feels personal. I can't come to grips with what we've become. If I express it to my Trump loving relatives, they will just swear and complain. Or laugh at the thought that they voted for Fascism.

I'm dreading the holidays, let alone the next 4 years.

6. Its not just aging. For me its grief, bereavement and PTSD

In the past 30 months, I have suffered physical injury which has caused me to become disabled, the loss of my partner and best friend of over 50 years, a serious illness which put me into care facilities for 4 months and further disablement. I have previously had to come to terms with grief and bereavement, not only for the loss of my wife, but also for the loss of my former life. I recognize from the posts I am seeing, that there is just widespread grief and bereavement and PTSD.

Till you've lived through it a few times, you don't even recognize it, nor how to deal with it. I fear there will be very many peoplewho will need help getting through this ,but won't ask for, nor get any.

This might be the worst so far but, shit happens.
Hope we can hold together and manage to come out the other side intact.
