I have a less intense question based only on curiosity: Blue States

The question is simple: In your opinion, which are the three "bluest" states? No fair using Google, although one's opinion of "blue" may be other than percentage who vote that way. Or whatever.

I live in Maryland, certainly a blue state, but I wouldn't call it one of the top three of blue states. My guesses, based solely on "feel" are in no particular order:

California
Washington
Massachusetts

Anyone else?

(This is obviously a lightweight post in a dark time. Sorry if it doesn't "fly," but I tried.)

Right now she's only ahead by 17% in CA.

Vermont is a very Blue state, despite the Governor. Bernie Sanders, who happens to be an Independent, is one of the most Progressive members of the Senate.

maaaaybe Northern NYS, too.
Then there are the bluer cities in mid & upper NYS.

And of course there's little ole (mostly) blue 💚 NYC. 😄

Definitely California, and Massachusetts.
Washington vs another New England State? Not sure.

I grew up in Massachusetts, lived in Rhode Island and now in central New York for over 30 years. There are a lot of red areas upstate especially in the smaller towns but the state government is safely blue. I would love to live in southeastern Mass or RI, but it is much more expensive than here. Hope this helps.

Sadly, the number I can say tonight are far fewer than I would have said last week:
(Not necessarily in order):
California (where I live)
New York
Massachusetts

Those are just off the top of my head.

The vast majority of residents live in the Willamette Valley and Multnomah County, which is heavily Democratic. The rest of the state is full of right-wing dipshits but fortunately are way outnumbered.
