Trump Sentencing

Donald Trump is scheduled to be sentenced for his fraud convictions in New York state this month. everyone knows he will not go to jail. I suggest that we have one of two options. (1). Sentence Trump to a two-year suspended sentence and the conviction stands, or (2). Toll the time for sentencing to after Jan. 20, 2029.

Now look, you can reply to this post with opinions that are just not practical. I just don't want this case tossed. I want Trump to remain a convicted felon with his sentencing hanging over his head.

even if he lost the election. His charges don’t result in jail. But due to his behavior, it’d be great to see a jail sentence of 2 months with release date of the day before inauguration.

That way, John Roberts will have to walk into that cell and swear him in while he's still wearing his orange jumpsuit and looks like he's been in prison for a month...let this nations dupes see him for what he REALLY IS. 50 days in a cell might just actually trigger a complete narcissistic reality break, and he can get taken to the white house while he's drooling on himself.

* after a willing House and Senate allow Trump to suspend the constitution, Vance will be arrested and removed, and Junior will become his #2. Or something like that. It's hard to keep all the CT's organized in my brain these days. I'm old and tired and emotionally raw.

Anything that’s going to satisfy your goal will be appealed and effectively paused for four years.

Best we can hope for is a slap on the wrist that at least locks in the “convicted felon “ piece (you’re not technically a felon until the final order is entered after sentencing)

You can't dismiss a jury conviction. You can appeal it, delay the sentencing or suspend the sentence but you just can't pretend it didn't happen.

until after Jan. 20, 2029. That means he carries the moniker of a convicted felon facing sentencing for his entire Presidency. That's the best we can hope for. After all, 51% of American voters are fucking dopes and that's what got this adjudicated rapist, convicted fraudster and civilly convicted financial embezzler off the hook.

I will not support the idea that he is not going to jail. If that doesn't happen, then why bother to even have laws. He's going to turn loose a whole bunch of criminals anyway.

Someone who is in a position of power has to have some balls to stand up to this guy and put the fear of God into him. Sentence him to four years in prison, and incarcerate him, where's the most dismal prison in New York? Make the shills come out and see what they can do.

Other first time offenders with similar charges got fines and community service. And even if he gets jail, the SS have to be with him.

He can't go to a regular jail. He has to carry out his Presidential duties.

Where he would make judgement on the Defense asking for vacating the verdict due to SCOTUS immunity decision and that content being part of the Jury record.

We will see...

Dearborn, Michigan – Samraa Luqman wants Arab Americans to be blamed if Democratic candidate Kamala Harris loses to her Republican rival Donald Trump in the United States election.

For too long, Democrats have taken the Arab vote for granted, and it is time for them to pay the price for the United States-backed Israeli war on Gaza and Lebanon, Luqman said.

Judge Juan Merchan, who oversees Trump’s New York case, is scheduled to rule Nov. 12 on whether the charges against Trump will stand, as the ex-president has asked him to throw out the charges based on the Supreme Court’s ruling giving former presidents some immunity from criminal charges. That ruling will give the first indication of how Trump’s criminal conviction in New York could play out from here now that Trump’s been elected.
