DEADLINE WHITEHOUSE uncovers REAL REASON Why Kamala Lost - Nicole Wallace MSNBC revealing Insights

I am a numbers geek. While I do blame part of Kamala's defeat on sexism, I heard today a good explanation as to what one of the major reasons for Tuesday's election results on Deadline White House today. President Biden had an approval rating of around 40% and the wrong track numbers were very high. Historically, an incumbent president tends to get the same percentage of vote as their approval ratings. Here Kamala got 7% or so higher vote compared to Joe Biden's approval rating which is a testament to the fact that she ran a great campaign.

.

Joe Biden did a great job on the economy and prevented a recession. However the public was still upset at the fact that food and other things cost more and they felt bad about the economy. The high percentage of people who believe that the country was on the wrong track also hurt. In effect, Kamala was facing a very high burden to overcome and was unable to overcome the feelings that the country was on the wrong track and the fact voters were upset about the economy.

He has been wanting to sell it so he can retire and "get out of California". Every time we saw him over the past four years he complained about the "recession". The fact that there was no recession since Biden took office proves where he gets his information.

He'll probably move to Montana and add to the myth that this state has nobody here. Of course, now that magats have taken full control of the state government and supreme court, a lot self deportation is going to take place.

Magats have been moving here in droves over the past decade and they have taken over the state because they want to mine the fuck out of our public lands now that a lot has been trashed by cattle grazing and too many offroad vehicle leaving the trails and logging road carving up habitat not to mention the clearcuts.

But all that will be happening like a wildfire now that the takeover is complete. They came here with intent and we will have no say in the matter now. I am leaving as soon as arrangements can be made. Just another iteration of Rmoney's self deportation.

Of them will have to do unless I leave the country, which I am still open to doing. A cozy, out of the way cave might do too.

Peace is over-rated I'm guessing given where we find ourselves.

heard Matt Dowd and David Jolley talking about this. Dowd was terrific. I had not heard this analysis and felt much better after hearing the full discussion.

Everyone should see your post.
Thanks again.

6. I don't think blaming soley on Biden's 40% approval rating works

That not a reliable metric. No President might not have ever been reelected with a 40% approval rating, but I'm pretty sure I've seen witnessed in my lifetime Governors reelected with approval ratings less then that and Biden's approval ratings could've been boosted with better messaging. We can longer wait until election season to start campaigning. We need to have year round partisan Democratic surrogates talking up our accomplishment not never Trump never Trump Republications who've never bought into the Democratic agenda.

The GOP went after the misogynist, racist vote, especially using social media, and all these young guys came out of the woodwork.

If you think it has to do with Biden or perceptions of the economy, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

MAGA merchandise is the modern version of the old KKK hoods and robes.

That it's not just white people who can be racists. Ill just leave it at that. But when we nominated a woman of color, we basically tossed a fair % of NONwhite racists (we know we never get the white racists) and the misogynists (of all races) over to Trump.

But the main problem is we lost the lower middle class/working people that Biden was able to capture. Harris just wasn't able to keep that group together. Biden, even at 80% in 2020 destroyed Trump. Mainly because the working-class love Joe. They did not love Kamala, for whatever reason.

The ironic thing about Biden is he has ALWAYS been a gaff machine, has often been hot-miced saying something incendiary about Republicans. It never hurt him. He would fuck up names, dates, places, but he's kick your ass. And it NEVER hurt him. Kamala was perfect, never slipped up, not a single offensive comment. And she got trounced.

Don't get me wrong, I love Kamala and I am devastated, but American politics requires someone who has a little bit of asshole in them.

I don't know what I am saying, I am drinking here. lol

Biden's economy was bad, they are likely in for a very nasty surprise. Musk already forewarned people that we are in for a financial shock should tfg return to the WH.

17. The change candidate wins in periods of economic uncertainty: hope and change wins bigger
Fri Nov 8, 2024, 01:17 PM

Trump was the chaotic volatile change candidate. There was a method to his madness.

Kamala was the hope candidate and her great performance over Biden's favorabilty was a testament to that.

Kamala might have won big if she could have broken free of being cast as an establishment continuation of Biden. Hope and change wins as Obama taught. It would have required pushing that theme big time with big visionary plans.
