If Abe Lincoln had instead conceded slavery was okay in the South and Jefferson Davis could be co-president.

Some people sound like we need to change values to win. WE may need to change some things, but I'm not onboard with changing things that are still important.

I'm still going to defend trans people, not because it's a popular issue, or the complaints about men competing against women is not a simple thing to resolve, or that a lot of people won't let them be, but like all the various religious beliefs we try to let people believe what they want and live their life as close to what they believe as possible. You're not required to like any of it. You may not like a particular religion, or you may not like trans people, but they all deserve to have the same consideration.

We try to adjust one belief against another if we can. That goes on all the time. No one said anything is easy.
