The Chief is absolutely right to decline to do the Feds' job for them. I'm sure LAPD has plenty to do already.

3. and no doubt this is just beginning

of CA saying "screw you" to Trump. And there is nothing Trump can do to CA, which is the fifth largest economy in the world. Red states need CA money to sponge off of, and all CA has to say is, "we are tired of supporting your bad decisions, we are not going to send you any more of our money. Fix your own problems. We want to use our money to make our citizens' lives better"

5. But what about the MAGAt sheriffs and police chiefs in red counties and towns?

6. A lot of the red counties are agricultural.

No migrants. No crops. Hoping local law enforcement won’t want to screw with the corporate farms.
