Many here were in favor of expanding the Supreme Court...

If it was such a good idea in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024...

What should Trump do?

Should Trump expand the Court?

The Judiciary Act, co-led by Rep. Schiff, would expand the United States Supreme Court by adding four seats, creating a 13-justice Supreme Court and restoring balance to the nation's highest court after four years of norm-breaking actions by Republicans led to its current composition and greatly undermined its standing

If it's a truly solid proposition and logical...

Should Trump give in to Schiff and urge his Congress to make it law?

Yes... I'm illustrating absurdity by being absurd.

For example.

"I believe that on the first day of a new semester, Freshmen should have to buy upper classmen a coffee"

How would you feel about on the first day of a new semester upper classmen should buy Freshmen a coffee?

I've remembered that for 40+ years.

It was a good solution, if Dems had done it maybe TSF wouldn’t have immunity and would be sitting in a courtroom?

instead of BEATING HIM.

He was beatable this time... but we made some mistakes in 24.

Now he's out of the picture in the political future.

Let's rebuild for 26 and beyond.

If I were the republican senate majority leader - I'd make it one of the first bills.

"But wait... I thought you said we had to have 13 justices because there are 13 circuits? Has that changed or are you admitting that it was always a push for partisan political power?"

The second bill would be to abolish the undemocratic and racist filibuster.

Expanding to just 13 was always low ball anyway. FDR wanted to expand it to 15 when the population was much lower. There is nothing in the Constitution that says how many Supreme Court Justices or many per circuit either. Trump and republicans probably are going repeal the legislative filibuster, but will probably carve out an exception just for the Supreme Court. If we ever get back The Presidency,House and Senate and the only thing left for the filibuster to protect is the Supreme Court if we wouldn't expand the court at that point we would be absolute cowards.

It will become the sole bulwark of American democracy.

Which, thankfully, is closer to the truth

They have a majority that isn't going away any time remotely soon. They don't need a bigger majority. If they would add justices, all it would accomplish is to set a precedent for Democrats to add more to gain a majority when they are in control in the future.

We should absolutely repeal the filibuster and expand the Supreme Court there is nothing absurd about it. Unless we really don't care about our supporters and going to have to tell our voters your going to have to suffer through a right wing Supreme Courts decision for the rest your lives and maybe for the rest of your children's life too. We might be able to do something about it, but preserving unconstitutional filibusters that protect unconstitutional limits on the number of Supreme Court Justices is more important to us and, because we are scared republicans might do it too.

If Trump does it now it accomplish pretty much nothing for them the Supreme Court is already a rubber stamp for republicans.
If they do it now and the only thing that would accomplish is giving us even further justification to add even more seats to the Supreme Court once we are in charge.
