(306,124 posts)the final votes are close enough to get an automatic recount.
That Lake is always asking for money.
I got so many texts from magats begging for money and votes. I don't know where they got my number or why they thought I'd be interested.

(3,752 posts)An automatic recount requires it to be leas than 0.5%.
The counting isnt done so that may change but for right now it looks like no automatic recount.

(6,133 posts)after living there a few years, I just couldn't take the dumbassery anymore. I was in a smaller town, not Tucson or Phoenix, so had no escape from the ignorant maggots. Finally concluded that the sun baked their brains.

It was Glorious back then... almost like small towns.
I visited in the 90s and it was crazy big!
I hope you like it where you are now.

(6,133 posts)I moved to a rural part of Washington State. Blue, absolutely beautiful and a stark contrast to AZ. This area (SW WA) does have a lot of maggots but many enlightened, delightful people as well.
WA is one of only two states where putin's puppet didn't gain more support this election (with a couple of states' results not yet confirmed)--in fact, he lost support, and might end up being the only state to move away from him. I'm proud of this state.

(306,124 posts)it's Mind Boggling that TSF could Gain Votes When he's Exponentially WORSE This Time.
So happy for you being where you are now.
And, Such a Contrast from the landscape, weather, and People!
My Grandson and his wife just moved to Seattle back from Melbourne where he went to Medial School..
They're Bummed about the election, too.

(6,686 posts)Go figure. No change in support for red don. Gotta give the LDS credit, I guess, for voting their values.

(6,157 posts)And when I was growing up, 60's and 70's, it was more Democratic party than GOP. But as it grew, the influx of civil service employees at a military base, and of older people moving there to retire flipped it in the early 80' to GOP. District represented for years by Democrat Mo Udall, moderate Republican Jim Kolbe, and then Gabby Giffords. Looks like Juan Ciscomani, the Republican, may be in trouble now.

(8,593 posts)I could have sworn that MSNBC/NBC called this race on *Election Night*
I was surprised to hear that it was still apparently uncalled...
Not sure if MSNBC/NBC made a mistake or made the call too early or what happened, but I haven't even been worrying about this seat over the past few days because of that initial call...
Cha
(306,124 posts)have been checking on it the last two days.
It was holding at 69% and not called yet for a couple of days. I was so Glad to See This!

(19,042 posts)That race was very high on my list. The only thing that would have thrilled me more would have been Colin Allred beatingTed Cruz. Well, that and Jon Tester and Sherrod Brown both winning their races. One out of 4 is... better than nothing!

(56,972 posts)He has been pulling that rabbit out of a hat for three terms in a row.
I felt the same way about Sherrod Brown. He and Tester have so much in common. Both started in the Senate at the same time - 2007 - and both kept getting reelected in their respective red states...until now. And they both lost to opponents who were endorsed by the Orange Hellbeast. It all sucks SO much!
