(16,387 posts)2. Collins comes up for re-election November 3, 2026.
What do you want to bet The Orange Menace, Eloon, and Peter Thiel flood her primary campaign with mega cash and negative political ads to oust her. In the style of former Rep. Liz Cheney.
That will give her something to really be concerned and troubled over.

(17,712 posts)4. Are there any Democratic Senators left in Red states?
Or was Manchin the last?

I guess I was thinking more Deep Red states, non-swing states.

Outside of North Carolina I don't see where we pull additional senators from in the coming elections.

Coming in 2025:
We'll have 10 of 14 swing state senators
Arizona
Mark Kelly
Ruben Gallego
Michigan
Gary Peters
Elissa Slotkin
Nevada
Catherine Cortez Masto
Jacky Rosen
Pennsylvania
John Fetterman
Wisconsin
Tammy Baldwin
Georgia
Jon Ossoff
Raphael Warnock
Georgia is a swing state... but kind of.. because Georgia still leans republican. Keeping our seats there is still an uphill battle.
I did a post on this recently. They have more solid red states than we have solid blue states and therefore its always harder for us to win the senate unless we invest to expand our map. We have to rely on swing states much more often than they do, which means they have a much easier time defending their seats.
