The time has come: if we are going to save American democracy, we must start by revolutionizing the so-called “mainstream media,” and replacing it with independent, fearless journalism. Trustworthy reporters who aren’t afraid to call out Trump for lying at a constant, and aren’t under the thumb of some shady oligarch.

We shouldn’t waste another dime supporting these lie-filled headlines, misleading stories, and pro-MAGA narratives. So let’s cancel any subscriptions to “news” orgs who essentially elected Trump.

We know corporate media won’t magically disappear anytime soon, so squashing their deluge of propaganda will be a key component of our newly expanded Watchdog Coalition.

Along with a network of trusted leaders, we’re taking the lead in this new age of journalism—paving the way for a new generation of reporters who will never be Donald’s subservient stenographers.

We proved that we could get the Press to act during the campaign—even changing their bogus headlines after we called them out for it. And we are just getting started.

Any poll that asks the question: Is the country going in the wrong or right direction should be discounted as the response is almost always the same, 65% believe the country is going in the wrong direction. Thanks to the right wing media we've become a nation of professional victims.
Pox News has their audience convinced that they're being victimized by minorities or immigrants getting government handouts. There are large flat screen TVs everywhere broadcasting propaganda. That Orwell guy predicted it. 1984 was a warning. Rupert Murdoch saw it as an instruction manual.

3. The only way to control the media is to buy it and own it

Ultimately it is the wealthy owners and media corporations who calol the shots on what gets published.

I think the best way for us to regain a voice is to buy or found a new independent media corporation.
