I had read this somewhere, maybe on DU
It would make VP Harris #47 and trumpfuck #48.
All his merchandise with #47 would be wrong. Much like all the maga merchandise about President Biden.

Resigning and making Harris the president wouldn't automatically elevate Walz to the VP position, so she'd have to appoint him and get him approved by a majority of both houses of Congress. Good luck with that. Maybe that wouldn't be a problem for such a short time, but if anything happened to her and there is no VP, the Speaker of the House, the odious Mike Johnson, would be president, though temporarily as well. However, if Harris is temporarily the president, at least she wouldn't have to preside over the electoral vote count - that would be taken over by Patty Murray, the current president pro tem of the Senate.

All the misogynists who refused to vote for a woman President last week won't suddenly be swayed for 2028 because Harris held the office for two months. It would have no impact other than to piss off Trump and enrage the Republicans even more.

Being (sort of) the first woman president doesn't mean much if it didn't happen via an actual election - Biden stepping down and giving it to her for a couple of months is just a man giving a woman something she was wrongfully denied in the first place by other men. Anyhow, Biden ought to serve out his entire term. He's owed at least that much for all the shit that's been thrown at him.
