Although we are relatively small compared to other political sites, we have been around a long time and have made a lot of enemies along the way. They would like to shut down the "Democratic Underground", in my opinion.

They swarm here during and after election to see what the "left" is saying and to collect their "liberal tears".

They come on here, and some are long time members, to work on our minds. They agree on a minor point, then bamboozle and gaslight us to try to weaken our resolve. Don't think I don't notice. Until we do the same to the other side, I don't think we'll make much progress.

Shock and denial is OK.

I myself have seen this coming for some time and posting about it.

Even I am having a hard time believing it.

ETA I do think you have been ahead of the curve for some time now.
I think you are a careful, cautious thinker, gather all your data and facts.
And then when you get it, you get it down to the ground and can get into the deep
weeds as well as general summary concepts.
