Question: I have received two posts about a

woman named Evan Barker, who wrote about her raising $50 million for democrats, but became disenchanted with the Democrats and joined trump.
She wrote in The Free Press.
I have tried to research her, but there is little to go on.
She complains the Democrats ignored the plight of the less fortunate and that was trump's strong suit.
It seems anecdotal at best, but I was curious if any one was familiar with her.

to support trump. It would say her discernment is questionable.
If I was into conspiracies, she sounds like a plant.
When we followed the DLC with Clinton, we acknowledged the power of Wall Street, but I don't recall abandoning the less fortunate. We have pushed health care improvement, higher wages, women's rights, asylum for the threatened.
I don't get her point.

3. The Democratic Party needs to look at criticism to better itself

But I don't think we need to look at opinions of people who actually voted for Trump.

8. Sounds like psyops. Or a very selfish, short sighted brat.

First of all - there's a type of "radicalized" person that gloms onto liberal causes or leftist (leftist is different than liberal, though they often coincide) causes for ego points.

The cause itself (promoting leftist policies, education, inequality, environment, ect...) is actually secondary to two specific needs within that individual:
1. The first is an overwhelming need to be validated. To be the last minute hero, the person who is right, damnit, in the face of all opposition. In this manner, the Radical can "show them" - the ones who didn't give them enough respect they felt they needed.
2. The second is predatory. This type of person sees members of groups promoting liberal causes as naive, weak, or easily manipulated. They hook on to a cause to rule it for their own agendas, or to eventually destroy it from within after they profited off it. They think they can use liberal "street cred" to go from cause to cause, feeding off groups until they get to a position they can pretty much hold court and do what they want with their little armies of Radicals.

Because this Barker person is asking for a significant amount of money, I suspect they are either of the second type or involved with Right Wing psyops to try and get rich off RW rubes and the wanna be validated type of leftist radical.
