and keeping Amazon Prime, etc.

Other than the occasional moralistic nonsense the right inexplicably gets to work (killing DEI efforts at places like John Deere, the obvious recent example), boycotts rarely accomplish much of anything.

It's unlikely that enough people will bail on Tesla and/or X for it to matter, but personal avoidance of them does have the side benefit of possibly making one feel good about it for a while.

It is without a doubt that all of us support something like Tesla or Amazon or whatever but have no clue that similar links exist between that something and the right. It's just that those in charge of Amazon and Tesla are more vocal about it.

It's funny how we mocked W for "with us or against us", but that's essentially how we approach a lot of things, too. Stereotypes and blanket statements are rhetorical shortcuts to which we often subscribe.

And given my intention to never buy one again as long as he's involved with that company and it's not like the car will disappear from the roads, that accomplishes exactly what?

I think the true middle ground is to not shit on us for past decisions we made with very good intentions.
