On Monday's podcast, Keith hinted that he would be ending his "Countdown" podcast in January.
He was suggesting that someone much younger should take up the fight.
I believe he said he would help that person get started.
And if I recall correctly, Keith said that his name was on a "list".
I'm guessing that's at least one of the reasons for the January deadline.
Keith has had an extraordinary show. He has had info when no one else has had it.
Or he surmised/inferred things that had eventually supported his guesses.
The resistance will need someone like him.
If he's willing to help you get started, that's an offer I wouldn't refuse (if I were half my age).

(1,128 posts)I have a feeling we might see quite a few others just tired and dropping out so they can have a life again. I totally get that. But it doesnt bode well for our country.

(25,463 posts)When 3 mile island nuclear reactor had a spill. They got (the cleaning lady) was it Garrett Morris to go in with mop and bucket to clean up the spill. Jimmy Carter was in the clip talking about how safe nuclear power was.
Keith needs a Garrett Morris.

(2,248 posts)I was just watching a 2009 intro of Keith on Countdown on YouTube. I used to love watching Wolf, Chris Matthews and Keith during the early Obama years. Nostalgia.
I miss those days, cant believe our country is headed where it is now, where its already been and how much worse its going to get.

(2,248 posts)The times and some people I've lost since then are never coming back, but there can still one day be an America better than MAGA or even an America better than pre-MAGA.
I just hope I'm around to see it.

(2,050 posts)if Trump were elected, and that Trump would round up his enemies. I've been wondering what people with a target on their backs are thinking right now. I can imagine that the risk vs any positive impact he could have must seem a poor bargain.
He has revelled in his podcast at being freed of the limitations of MSNBC and being as outrageous as he likes. Now the shackles of MSNBC must seem like child'splay compared to what might come. I hope the slightly more toned down media personalities don't make the same choice. But it will take courage.

At least we still have MSNBC after 4PM to counter the 24/7/365 digital misinformation onslaught.
