I support non violent resistance to the felon's fascist regime. But concentration camps, aka detention centers, are a red flag for worse and a red line that we should not let the nation cross. Might call for stronger resistance.

Private prisons would provide the same conditions as concentration camps, with a double motive, racism and profits. Insufficient, non nutritious food, lack of adequate sanitation, lack of medicine and medical treatment when needed. Physical and psychological abuse, possibly sexual abuse.

The profit motive would make the administrators indifferent to whether their prisoners were undocumented immigrants or American citizens. They would eagerly increase their prisoner count by accepting political dissidents as prisoners.

A concentration camp by any other name is still a concentration camp.
