If you do a quick search under "Harris" and "recount" over the last day, a horde of stories will pop up saying ACT Blue and others are now diverting donations into a possible recount fund.
What's up with that? Is it really going to happen? I will kick in if it is really really real - but I want to hear VP Kamala Harris say so.
For the record (since we know for a fact that the G.O.P. Felon has cheated at everything in life and business) I say GO.

(32 posts)I believe it is just for some congressional races.... not sure how it has gotten misconstrued (Unless I'm the one that is wrong)

(27,752 posts)Recounts are state-level decisions and generally only occur if the results were within legislated margins.
None of the swing states are close enough - and she would have to flip a few of them for it to make a difference.
But some of the funding groups are now in debt and worried that funds will dry up as the party starts the circular firing squad. If they can get a few more bucks from you now by selling a false hope - apparently they're willing to try.

They aren't free.
