(3,589 posts)Here come the three Seans! So funny!
I think i will start pronouncing my name with that hah at the end. Compounding my trouble is my last name, which is only 4 letters but is commonly spelled with ei, ea or ee in the middle. Sometimes with an extra silent e at the end.
Could be much harder though; I had a friend whose name was pronounced Trinizheski, but was spelled Trininewski.

(3,011 posts)I have to spell it out for people though. If I say it first and then spell it, people never listen to the spelling and get it wrong every time. My last name sounds like a thing that every elementary school kid can spell, but it's one letter off.

(25,651 posts)I'd rather have the rain than fires.
But the wind, storm surges, power outages, etc., we can all do without those.

(811 posts)A Storm2K model thread is at
https://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=124514
One set of models has it going anywhere from the Yucatan to Cuba, with most in that set curving back over Florida anywhere from Cedar Key to points further south.
Faux Weather channel suggests that if the high pressure remains where it is, 99L will head south of the US: if the high gets kicked out to the east, it may open up a path for it to head into the Gulf.
Tune back on Thursday or Friday. (The one set of models suggests it won't enter the Gulf, if it goes there, before next Sunday or so.)

(278,297 posts)Several models say it will be a hurricane. Shields makes it clear that we dont know its destination (s).
Let us pay attention for now.
