Mediaite: Scoop: Alina Habba Emerges as Front-Runner For Trump Press Secretary

Mediaite - Scoop: Alina Habba Emerges as Front-Runner For Trump Press Secretary

Alina Habba, a lawyer who represented Donald Trump in a series of high-profile cases, has emerged as a front-runner to serve as press secretary in the incoming White House, four sources told Mediaite.

There has been no formal decision as of yet, but Habba is the favorite for the role, insiders said.

One source, granted anonymity to speak about internal deliberations, said there are ongoing discussions with Habba about the job but it remains unclear whether she will take it. “She’s expected to be at Mar-a-Lago this week for conversations regarding a potential role,” the source said.

A source from the Trump camp said Habba’s experience defending the former president on-camera and in court are seen as advantages that will serve her well in the briefing room.

“Donald Trump is the premier programmer and producer-in-chief, he casts for the on-air roles,” the source said. “Alina is camera-ready and tested on day one. But more importantly she’s battle tested after being in the frontlines with POTUS the last four years.”

He can't find qualified, trained people to do these jobs. This is a string of know-nothing toadies.

I'm reminded of when George Costanza was trying to think of a new job and sugested that he could be a radio announcer for the Yankees because he liked baseball. Jerry tells him that they usually give those jobs to "ex-ball players and people in - ya know - broadcasting."

They usually give the press secretary job to people in - ya know - professional communication.

What a fucking clown show.

You have to be smart and capable. She doesn’t appear to be either, although you have to have something upstairs to pass the bar exam. Not an easy test.

Didn’t he just refuse to have a daily press briefing after a while?

But she’s very good looking in conventional terms. In my opinion anyway.

My guess is that she hasn’t been turned down very often in her life.

... like Ms. Habba do? No sane person would hire her for her woeful legal skills to represent them; and, she is on the hook, jointly and severally, together with the criminal Turd for that $975,000 "sanctions" award which Federal Judge Middlebrooks leveled against her for abuse of the legal system.

It might simply be going on and talking to Fox which she handle with ease. I doubt they're worried about daily briefings anymore. And God knows we won't see Trump at a press conference like Bidens team did.
