It would have been good if people who opposed this--and there are more than Pence--did more to speak out about why January 6 pardons are bad for rule of law before Trump won the election.

That said, it's not too late for anyone to voice their opposition to it. Trump had enough henchmen pardons his first term. How many more will be acceptable?
