one point he made which I somewhat agree with is that vets should be able to seek doctors/medical help outside of the VA hospital system. I have worked at several VA hospitals (construction) and the V A hospital system is a bloated bureaucratic mess. A vet friend has to travel miles to get to his VA facility.

It’s that it has not been funded to keep pace with the ego inspired wars the US has started.

Thousands of young men and women gave their souls and bodies to support our involvement in foreign conflicts, only to come home and find no support system. When I first moved to AZ in a PCS move, I thought: well at least McCain supported the military. Big let down when he explained his support was to defense contractors who were giving “our troops the best equipment they could”…

republicans don’t give a shit about the broken bodies of their conflicts, paying the NFL to highlight service members and coining a sappy phrase is their stock in trade.

My service gave me tools to make a decent life for myself. Gave me a career. Sure, at times the rules were a pain in the butt, and there were long periods of ennui and short periods that exercised the adrenaline pumps, but other than that, it was a job.
I don't need to be thanked for doing a job. Thank a nurse or EMT, instead, please. Thank a teacher who is underpaid and overworked. Don't need to thank me.

Because they don't give a flying ..... about those who serve this country.

Their "chosen one" who thinks they're "suckers and losers" and who wondered aloud over the graves of the fallen "what was 'in it' for them" - doesn't give a fk about veterans either.

He made a big ass (illegal) show of laying wreaths at Arlington prior to the election.

Does anyone even know where the fk he was yesterday, on VETERAN'S day?

What does this joker plan to do about Retired Military who have earned their benefits with 20+ years of service such as Tri-Care, Space Available Military flights, VA benefits, etc?
