I was unable to keep up with any returns (to the preservation of my sanity), and I forgot to check the outcome of that race. I don't remember his name or state, just that he thought women should learn to keep their skirts down.

(3,330 posts)The Black Nazi, Mark Robinson, got his ass kicked by Democrat Josh Stein.
Stein won by 15 points in a rare victory for Democrats.

(3,330 posts)Democrats had a bad night nationally on November 5. Stein's win (and the other Council of State winners) in NC WERE relatively rare wins.
Democrats in NC don't really win much anymore, with that Republican supermajority in the General Assembly and their gerrymandered US House districts. Plus, the Dem on the NC Supreme Court lost as well.

(8,742 posts)In an election with some actual certifiably insane candidates, I think he was the craziest this year.

(2,583 posts)Strategically, in the primary. I wanted the craziest opponent for Stein. It was risky but paid off.

(97 posts)also won Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and Superintendent of Public Education. The Republican woman running for Education Superintendent, Michele Morrow, was equally as bizarre as Robinson. She had called for pay per view public executions of OBama, Biden, Clinton, Schumer, among others. Now she is trying to get a Trump administration appointment and after what we have witnessed the last two days seems probable.
