Elon Musk says he will "nuke" the people behind Democrats wanting his ties to Putin & other top Russians investigated

I searched Twitter, couldn't find any other tweet where he threatened to nuke anyone.
But that was his response yesterday to the news that two Democratic lawmakers want an investigation - see LBN at https://www.democraticunderground.com/10143340913 for more details, and here's an excerpt from the CBS news story quoted there:

Two top Democratic senators are asking the Pentagon and the Justice Department to investigate billionaire Trump ally Elon Musk's reported contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other top Russian officials in recent years.

Sen. Jack Reed, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, a top member of the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committees, wrote a letter to Defense Department Inspector General Robert Storch and Attorney General Merrick Garland Friday, urging them to determine whether Musk's reported contacts with the Russians should force a review of the federal government's contracts with his company, SpaceX. Reuters was first to report the request.

The Wall Street Journal reported in October that Musk has been in regular contact with Putin since late 2022, and that Putin asked Musk to activate his Starlink satellite internet program over Taiwan for Chinese President Xi Jinping. SpaceX did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Hill's story on Reed and Shaheen's letter was posted about on Twitter by Alex Larusso, a producer working with Benny Johnson, who was recently outed as being paid by Russian state media:

Hours later he joined in a thread wondering why the Wall Street Journal wasn't being investigated for its "unfounded" claims about Musk.

As for Musk being so paranoid he thinks Reed and Shaheen must be puppets even though they're obviously just taking the most sensible action after the WSJ report - I found out recently just how much his conspiracy-theorist and racist tweets match up with the loony rants of his maternal grandfather (the only person I can recall hearing about who moved to South Africa FOR apartheid, which he defended - see https://www.democraticunderground.com/100219714118 , the OP and the first reply there).
