There are no set expiration dates for those who mourn. I mourn the state of our country and the loss

A psychologist I once worked for would say, “pick your duration of mourning and then find a way to move on.”
For example state to yourself I will mourn 2 minutes,( 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years. Any number.) And then I will move on.
For myself, I decided 1 month. By Dec 5 I will move on because I gave myself permission.

Holding on to anger or sadness can become chronic.
