But where I live, I've noticed the Trumper celebrations are much more muted this time around...? I live in an 80% Trumper neighborhood and every house except for 2-3 pulled up their Trump/Vance signs the day after the election. In 2016 they stayed up for weeks. Also I'm not hearing the excitement and fanatical enthusiasm in stray conversations anymore, but in 2016 I literally couldn't avoid them anywhere I went...
Just an observation... Maybe it means nothing.

Those people are going to be in a world of hurt when they realize how bad they fucked themselves over.
I wish they could have learned their lesson without fucking over the rest of us.

(19,824 posts)Im in amid sized town outside of Austin Texas and I actually saw an increase in Trump flags around town. The amount of anti-liberal vitriol on our community FB page has ratcheted up considerably. These people think its literally turned into Gilead here and he hasnt even been inaugurated yet.

FWIW, we've got a lot of military and NATO people in this area, don't know if that's connected to it somehow.
