Like Russia sending a million troops to their death defending one city, Stalingrad.
Because hitler and stalin got into a d waving contest. It was not even a strategic city of any import.

prepare a pre-emptive pardon for them (From FactLaw.com):

The U.S. Supreme Court clarified presidential pardon power in an 1866 case (Ex Parte Garland) challenging the pardon of a former Confederate soldier by President Andrew Johnson. In its opinion, the Court stated that this power "extends to every offense known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment."

Presidents also may issue pre-emptive pardons -- or rather, a pardon for any crimes an individual may have committed or may have been charged with. For example, President Gerald Ford issued a pardon to outgoing President Richard Nixon even though Nixon had not been charged with any federal crimes at that point.

I don’t understand this constant blame game, I’ve never been into it. I mean, what am I gonna do, punish people? Thing is over move on. Finding out who to blame does no good whatever. Trump just does it because he enjoys being cruel so much

Remember that young American guy we picked up fighting with the Taliban in Afghanistan? I think they sentenced him to 10 years. That was when we were all on the same side. Now we are all on opposite sides.

He sides with whoever strikes his fancy from day to day.
Or flatters him, gives him cash, helps steal elections.

It's a court by Military Officers for the Military. Civilians can bring charges up, but the decision to prosecute comes from within the Military. And frankly, JAG prosecutors like to take on cases they can win with the evidence on hand.

Doesn't matter what the Officers in Afghanistan did, the f'up started under *rump before they could plan for it and he left them with an untenable timeline, especially after his administration let all those Taliban go back into their own country.
And honestly, the withdrawal went pretty well, compared to the evacuation of Saigon, or the fall of Manila. McArthur wasn't prosecuted for the US troops lost then.

*rump might get a White Nationalists JAG officer to agree to prosecute. But the panel of Judges is beyond his control.
This is just empty threats to the Military. Whether or not enough take their oath of office seriously is the actual test.

I think Trump sympathies were with the Taliban anyway. They hate women he hates women. Also, he has bragged about eliminating Isis.

He can't impose his will. All the militias in the States can't prevail against them. And, he can't use them on behalf of Russia.

This is bizarre activity, but it's part of his purge of the Military. What could he do if the military gets fed up and marches on the WH? Nothing. Tell us it's illegal?

I'm a law and order sort of person, but if the military refuses Trump orders, I don't think I will worry about it. He belongs in jail.
