I wrote postcards for him. I thought he'd be a longshot against rich Republican incumbent Michelle Steel in this purple district. She ran horrific defamatory ads against him all day long on local TV and in slick mailers. But he worked so hard, and he is such a great candidate. He came to all the volunteer gatherings to thank us and was so inspiring. I am delighted to see him inching past that corrupt Republican piece of shit.

Yes folks, EVERY SINGLE VOTE COUNTS!

I keep hearing about the race getting closer and closer and the registrar shows Tran with 4000 votes fewer?
Steel is leading with 138 K to Tran 134 K

I think the OC registrar of voters is slow to update their election results web page; they prioritize counting and curing ballots. The Secretary of State doesn't count ballots, so can devote resources to updating the SOS website for each race statewide.
