Use paper bags for garbage. You'll find you have plenty of plastic coming as packaging. Line the bottom of the paper bag with that and it won't leak. I bought a box of plastic bags when I moved into my home 23 years ago. I just used the last one last month.
We can't change them. But we can take responsibility for our own actions.
And I know every time someone suggests we don't patronize them as they poison us and ruin our lives, someone else argues that we can't and shouldn't even try. And that seems enough to make us grumble and change nothing.
But the obvious fact is that we CAN starve them and we MUST.
