Caroline Kennedy speaks on RFK Jr nomination

BREAKING: U.S. Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy — daughter of the late JFK — rips into her cousin RFK Jr. for his “dangerous” views on vaccines after Donald Trump selects him to run Health and Human Services.

“I grew up with him, so I’ve known all this for a long time. Others are just getting to know him,” she said at the National Press Club in Canberra, Australia.

“I would say that our family is united in terms of our support for the public health sector and infrastructure and has greatest admiration for the medical profession in our country, and Bobby Kennedy has got a different set of views,” she added.

“But, yes, I think Bobby Kennedy’s views on vaccines are dangerous … but I don’t think that most Americans share them. So we’ll just have to wait and see what happens,” she also said.

Trump’s nomination of RFK Jr. to lead HHS is an insult to science and a threat to the health of the American people. The Senate must oppose his confirmation!

she's not saying what she really thinks because of the family thing but I bet she is disgusted and alarmed like the rest of us

IIRC - they wished he wouldn't run for President. Now the country knows what they knew.

likely disagree with his ideas on vaccines. To me it suggests that she hopes when it comes down to it, he will not get that position.

She has long been a good person working on our side.

14. I'm getting so f*cking tired of hearing rich people say that.

It doesn't matter how much Trump fucks over this country, "we'll just have to wait and see what happens" is a dog whistle for rich people that lets them know more huge tax cuts are on the way.

When North Korea starts launching nuclear ICBMs at us (they're almost there), we can expect the faux defense secretary to announce, "We'll just have to wait and see what happens."

Nope. She was asked a question and spoke pretty honestly about her cousin. What more do you want?

7. A little more forceful than her cousin Tim Shriver's BS on Stephanie Ruhle last week.

Encouraging libs to set aside our resentments and make nice, then downplaying RFK Jr's insanity because he's family and his mom just died.

Not ready to make nice, Tim.
