will the Orange Ruski withhold or dither about approving our military responding when needed? Will he water down any response?

(5,912 posts)attacking the mainland US. Our military has response commitments all over the world and our bases, troops, sensitive weapons info and technology all can be targets and will dictate a response from our military. We have already seen during the first term that they are willing to compromise the protection and security of allies and to pull punches regarding our intelligence agencies and law enforcement response to Russian aggression. So the question of whether they will pull punches with our military response/commitments to attacks is well founded.

(5,912 posts)scenario we have in the world is that we have alliances and commitments made about protecting others. So our military response affects that. Likewise we have bases, resources, sensitive technology and troops all over the world. Attacks on those bases require our military to respond. So it is not just about an attack on the mainland.
