Got my spouse’s passport renewed because it expires in about 7 months.
Postman dropped it off this afternoon

Did their expedited service for renewal.

Now Ready to get the HELL OUT of this Trump wacko land in 2025, 2026 2027 2028 for as many months as we can afford.

Not ready to MOVE out of country yet,,
But IF we find a place that “fits” ,,, we will move eventually
especially IF things start to get really not worth staying

2. Fairly easy

Expedited service is just the added fee
(don’t recall the amount)

BUT you have to pay to send it 1-2day delivery,
PLUS you include fee to pay to mail it back to you 1-2day delivery too

You just go to website search US PASSPORT RENEWAL
Enter your info, print it out, then mail with your old passport including check for fees
Don’t forget to enter full name with date of birth on top of check too.
Make sure to print in large letters EXPEDITE
Mail via 1-2 day delay

ONLY squirk is you better notice what the total fees are as you filled in form online,
Because after you PRINT …. The total fees isn’t shown anymore

3. I just renewed my expired passport on Monday. Changes!!

Much has changed since I was last issued a passport in 2010!

I can renew online? I can take my own photo? I can pay with a credit card? No more waiting in line at the post office?

Dang, that was easy.

I couldn't expedite it, but I do expect to get the new one by the end of December at the latest.
