Don wants to round up all the criminals, which are in jail, and deport them into Mexico.
Now, being I am a commonsense kind of guy, wouldn't Mexico have something to say about the United States dumping criminals into their country? Is there any kind of International Law that Don would be breaking if he does this?
I can't imagine they would be very happy knowing that rapist, murders, and convicted felons are being let out of our jails, rounded up in America and dumped into their country. Maybe when Don was saying that all the people crossing our border, being rapist, murders and felons, was just a preview of what he was going to do...
I feel like I am missing something here... Or are we just going to ignore laws?

(30,143 posts)they don't have to let them land ( unless the crew declares an emergency )... if they do land, the locals don't have to let them deplane.
Deporting using other means like marching them across the border can present problems too.

(27,696 posts)There are likely two assumptions that you dont realize youre making - that the Biden administration just lets everyone in and never deports anyone - and/or forgetting that previous administrations deported lots of people after they committed crimes.
If you travel to Spain and commit a crime - they send you back. If youre a US Citizen we dont have a choice. Youre our responsibility. And if you were a significant criminal here and we let you travel anyway
youre very much our problem.
The incoming administrations policy is a significant change in degree
we already deport dangerous criminals and their home countries have to take them.
