Our country
A lot of posters here on DU are now saying that no conspiracies should be discussed, no one should say the election was rigged. If you do talk about your suspicions, some will say that we can't be like MAGA. Or, they will call you stupid. Or, they will demand your evidence.
We can tough out four years. It won't be pretty, but he can't run again. He will have to destroy our country in the next four years. He will have to tear up the Constitution, do amendments, or get a puppet child to take over. He got off scot free with crimes that would have buried any one of the rest of us, in jail for decades. He did it. We failed to apply our rule of law.
There is commonality in dictator behavior. Now, we are going to face some kind of weird austerity program, which other countries have also faced. Don't know where the oligarchs think their own money will come from, when we don't have one thin dime to spend on what they have to sell.
I feel that we must continue to search for how they did it. If that's a conspiracy, then we have to find out now because in four years, someone else will do it again. Or, he'll say he didn't serve two terms (yes, there are those who will believe this.) He'll get himself on the ballot, and he'll get people to vote for him. And then, they will apply their technique again. They have to hold a sham election, like Putin does, unless he plans to declare himself President for life, like Xi.
I don't care what anyone thinks about my opinion. Something is wrong here. I would caution anyone against giving him the finger in a parade. Just don't do it. Trump isn't going to turn out to be some kindly leader. He is going to be every inch a nasty, vile, ruthless dictator. He is still engaging in intimidation techniques, trying now to scare the military. He's going to need them to handle the marches, riots and other protests when MAGA finally wakes up.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris do not deserve any derision. One was older and one was a female, but they were smart, had our best interests at heart, and deserve our admiration. We are only human. God, help us.
And remember, everything Trump touches dies. Elon Musk will also get thrown under the bus. Trump is probably busy trying to figure out how to get his wealth from him.
We are still free to enjoy our holidays. They don't enjoy them like we do! F.R.E.E.D.O.M.
