Why does DJT hate immigrants so much?

He claims they are criminals, but the claim is unsubstantiated. The truth is, he doesn't really care about crime or crime victims anyway. So is it purely about race? Most of the immigrants at risk of deportation are Hispanic. What did they ever do to make him hate them? The whole thing seems profoundly irrational to me.

I don't understand why he is willing to commit $1B in resources to do this when the problem is only in his mind.

It is a well known Putin ploy which allows him to install his puppets all over Europe and the US.

Putin creates wars and conflicts all over the world, creating huge numbers of immigrants which he
then sends to Europe and the US. He pays for candidates to run on this issue, it allows him to
install his puppets throughout the US and European governments and gain control of countries hostile to him.

Trump got elected partially because of this issue and will make it a huge grift.
He wants to be the richest man in the world and the deportation camps grift will make him rich.

I once had a co-worker who proudly told me he had ancestors who "came over on the Mayflower", which has become a way of asserting just how American you are.
