is I follow a ton of Democrats on X.

My X experience is very positive. I weed out what I don't like, and follow what I do like.

Starbuck isn't a source BTW... he's just a tool reposting CNN content.

CNN is the source.

Too many good liberals, progressives, leftists, and Dems are still on there.

However in the future it might be a consideration.

the poster is likewise on Threads or BlueSky or any of the others that could be at least linked here. Many "good" Dem posters are phasing out their time on "X" by starting duplicate posting on another of the alternatives.

We are in a transitional period. No matter how uncomfortable, I think we have to reconcile ourselves with that.

If you find it on X, find it on BlueSky to post it here. At the rate they’re gaining X members, it’s highly likely you’ll find it there.

but a lot of Democrats do. There's important stuff posted on X. Fortunately, you're not in charge of DU, so it will remain as a potential source for DU posts. Be careful what you wish for, especially when in comes to censorship issues.
