They have no idea how to run government

... nominees Trump has assembled at record pace show how little regard he has for the essential functions our government provides. He wants to harness its power for his own ends, in a way that could put Americans and our national security at risk—but he can only do this if Congress is complicit. Rep. Dan Goldman joins Tim Miller ...

They may even have a talent for it.

I think some of the early nominees are just there to make later ones not appear as ridiculous. Like Bondi actually has some job experience and, AFAIK, isn't a freaky coke-orgy pedophile. Her positions and attitudes are disgusting, and she's a shameless TSF loyalist, but America will give her a pass on all that because she's not Gaetz. Likewise with the lame duck rep from Oregon (Lori Chavez-DeRemer to Labor Sec.) -- she's right on the edge of being qualified for such a position, and she'll sail through the confirmation process because she's not an eccentric anti-vax conspiracy-spouting psychopath with worms in her brain.

When the bar has been lowered enough, the mediocre can look like Olympic champion pole-vaulters.

We're about to live the next four, and probably more, years without any government at all, just sadists, grifters, and sharks using the abandoned ex-government's levers to enrich and entertain themselves.

Hunker down and protect yourself and your loved ones, there isn't anyone else left to do that for you.
