My latest delusion: Class action lawsuit against Musk/ Trump

Most class action lawsuits don't do shit to the people they are targeting. But if the people in question are representative of the entire country, happen to be the richest people in the world, and whose class is representative of a large portion of the country, how far could one go in the end? 🤔

Can you successfully bring a class action lawsuit against the president of the United States?

Also scotus hasn't done anything to reverse the huge rewards in any other Trump lawsuit. Why would they even care about this one? Especially considering this process wouldn't run it's course for half a decade or more?

gravity of what happened on November 5, but our Democracy is pretty much over. Unless something unforeseen happens, the country as a democracy is essentially gone.

Due process will be thrown out the door. I wonder how many people will wrongly be thrown out the door with his mass deportation policy.

I think there is a real possibility we will become a police state.

Seems like a salient point missing from the OP.

Point is that it is a possible tool utilizing the courts that isn't dominated by the same partisan influences as the more common constitutional devices provided to challenge government wrongdoing.

One I have in mind is potential federal worker purges.
