So I did it!

I finally started opening my political mail yesterday after a news black out since election night. (Sort of—I couldn't help myself and I did check headlines a few times). The email was asking for help—-curing ballots for Adam Gray’s Congressional campaign. I thought about it and decided I can do something to help. The closer Congress is, the harder it will be to pass the crazies agenda. I got in my car and drove to his campaign office. I felt energized and happy for the first time since the election.

The room was crowded and focused. Organizer said that all Democrats are focused on these last remaining ballots. The general problem is that the county says some signatures don't match so the campaign goes to these voters and have them sign an affidavit so the vote can be counted.

It felt great to be part of a team fighting the good fight again and to finally be doing something!

And who knows? YOUR efforts might be just enough to tip the scale in favor of your candidate.

We do not have to suffer these dark times alone or in silence. I don't know you but I'm glad to hear you are doing better and hope others are out there doing better too.
