know/learn?

We have D.U. 99.181% of U.S. citizens have never even heard of D.U.

How many citizens even have a newspaper?

TV? The majority of states are served by Sinclair Broadcasting. I believe I recall reading that MSNBC is not carried by Sinclair. That was before MSNBC-Mjo went down the shitter.

You blame them if they knew and still voted against their own interest.

I live in a very remote rural area in my state and I have internet and antenna TV in case the internet fails. I watch the PBS evening news every night, and I find them to be a reasonable, non partisan source of information. If my rural neighbors refuse to use this free, reliable source of news, then I wash my hands of them.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Goes the same for etiquette, manners, consumption of goods, public displays. emotions...the list is endless.

The main cable companies where I live are ComCast and AT&T. Pretty sure they both carry MSNBC.

P.S. MSNBC has not gone down the toilet. I know not all the shows are equally good, especially Morning Joe (and it's on way too many hours every day as well). But MSNBC has some shows/hosts that are still doing a great job, so please don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

If I sound cranky, it's because I'm tired of people on DU trashing MSNBC as a whole just because certain individuals suck. That happens too much around here, and it's getting on ny last nerve.

What if stupid people vote for a stupid candidate? (I'm paraphrasing Plato a little bit, but that's essentially what he said)
