Now that the Supremes have granted him immunity while President, is there no such thing as impeachment any more?

(121,844 posts)Impeachment is about a president getting fired from his job. A president can have committed "high crimes and misdemeanors" for which he can't be criminally prosecuted but that still mean he can be removed from office. Two entirely different things.

(47,919 posts)Voting Rights Act on the way almost done. Check. 14A Sec 3, complete. Immunity? If you say it's official, you're good to go. WHich sort of make 5A irrelevant for presidents. Impeachment of president? Who would touch it? What's to gain? It's as worthless as censure.
